This February Ampispazi drops Milan's Keira's new EP featuring label star Ramsi on remix duties.
The Berlin - based label Ampispazi is dropping quality melodic techno coming from some of the most interesting up and coming artists in the scene. This time they are about to release one of the most interesting female figures in the Underground Electronic Music World: Milan's Keira. The producer has already been releasing on the likes of London's Entail Records alongside the likes of Scott Kemp, Malandra JR, Ron Costa and now on Ampispazi this summer alongside the other artists on the label's roster.
This February she presents 'Saturn EP': 3 emotional tracks backed up by one of the label's most affirmed producers - Ramsi. Her music showcases a genuine predisposition to late night melancholic melodies and intricate but dance floor oriented grooves.
The EP starts off with the title track: break beat, melodic, emotional, groovy - the total representation of the artist style and approach to music making. "in a low voice" sounds like a personal but strong personification of the artist, with a dark bass-line guiding the track, merged with psychedelic rhythmical chords and a soundtrack - ish piano hook.Following is 'Fixed', a powerful 4/4 cut driven by timeless synth melodies and moody strings. The EP closes with Ramsi's re-adaptation of the track which follows the original's guidelines before exploding after a marvellous arp crescendo on the break. Pure genius. Ampispazi have found another incredible artist.
