Dub imprint Inked Series drops Mysterious Eastern European Ekstendia's latest album 'Siberia'.
The fresh Berlin based Inked Series is dropping its 3rd release. The Ampispazi Recordings' sub label's name describes the visual approach behind each of the covers, done by hand by Tatoo artist Jessica Aaron. As winter approaches Inked Series have decided to release their first album 'Siberia', coming from Eastern European mysterious artist Ekstendia. The album is a rather warm and dubby sounding collections of tracks that perfectly reproduces in our imagination the territory north of Russia. It fuses Echochord with 2562, Basic Channel with Deepchord. The trippy dub techno chords are perfectly blended with very diverse grooves, from 4/4 kids to slow broken beats. This is a wonderful collection of World Music inspired Electronica, moving from club friendly tracks to trippy hypnotic home listening cuts, crafted with an incredibly sound maturity. Inked Series prepares for the winter with a psychedelic journey into the mind of Ekstendia. Class.
