This is where Choyce opens a conversation with a compelling personal message in his song. The song samples “Honey” by Kehlani and carries part of the (Dangerously in Love by Destiny's Child) hook.
The song talks about finally opening up to someone after a long period of time. Choyce says about the song:
"I wanted to finally express how I truly felt about this girl in the midst of our close friendship. People always thought there was more to us that wasn't being said so I started writing a song about her as a confession to how I feel about us. We've always been so close but I think we held back from revealing other thoughts on our connection. A lot of the R&B [I do] is genuinely based off women that come into my life and inspire me to speak to them in my music.
