    After the release of Flim's minimalist funk EP Belladonna in 2012, Maetta is back with a solid remix EP led by legendary French techno pioneer Scan X, with additional remixes by HDRX and Montonn Jira.Consistently known as one of the electronic music worlds top live performers, including being voted 7th best live act of 2012 in Resident Advisor as part of Laurent Garnier's acclaimed LBS, Scan X has brought his intimate knowledge of the genre to create a buzzing stomper of a techno track, that's spaced out and funky from start to finish.Alongside, Scan X, the ep features another French technophile, HDRX, with a deep techno track, layered with dissonant pads delayed and reverberated over a driving bassline and beat. Also included is a remix by Montonn Jira, Thailand's minimal techno guru of the last 15 years and the brains behind the Samutprakarn Sound record label which has featured artists such as Pheek and [A]pendics.shuffle. The melodic remix blends the funky Belladonna rhythm with a psychedelic synth perfect for the southern seas.
