About The Track "Cage of Bones"
This track started pretty casually. The guitarist and I were just planning to launch a project, meeting for the first time to listen to his demos. As it happened, I ended up staying at his place, and we spontaneously recorded a vocal piece over one of the ideas. Listening back to that playback, we realized we clicked. We spent countless nights jamming and working on parts together. But working as a duo, we felt something was missing to make the sound complete.
Everything fell into place when a third member joined us - a guitarist and arranger with a strong background in production. He completely reworked the arrangement, and the track sounded completely different. Thanks to him, we achieved the final vision you hear now.

Sound & Production
We didn't want to stick to strict metalcore rules. The foundation is built on low-tuned guitars and progressive elements, but electronics play a huge role in the mix. In some parts, the synths take the lead to create a dense atmosphere. To contrast the heaviness, we layered choirs, harpsichord, and other orchestral instruments. This creates tension between the digital textures and the organic orchestral sounds.

Vocals
Important note: there are no clean vocals on this track. Only extreme vocals. We used various techniques ranging from harsh screams and growls to gutturals. There are moments where the voice breaks into a hysterical mid-range scream. This was a deliberate choice - we wanted to convey tension and aggression without softening it with melodies.

Lyrics & Theme
The lyrics are in English. The core theme is the feeling of being limited by your own body. We are all trapped in a "cage of bones," and that causes suffering. The protagonist reflects on how flesh and physiology prevent us from becoming something greater. He tries to break out of this cycle, realizes the meaninglessness of certain beliefs, and wants to fade into the void to become free. It's a story about human nature, our limits, and the desire to go beyond them.

For Fans Of
If you need reference points, we were inspired by Northlane, Periphery, The Algorithm, and Silent Planet. We wanted to combine technical complexity and heavy electronics with emotional delivery and a solid guitar foundation.

This is our first serious work in this lineup, and we put a lot of time and effort into it. We hope you hear not just noise, but a story that resonates with you.
