Abstraction

French man Blurred Boy is no stranger to the ranks here at Variance, and after a one year break from producing music, we are delighted to present his comeback EP, and what an Ep it is. Blurred Boy has a very busy 2019 on the cards, having recently signed with an agency, rightfully so, he is getting more attention then ever, he even has a track on Vinyl on the way, glad to see artists that got early released on Variance do so well, it makes us proud. Blurred boy has had multiple releases on the label so far, with "Reward EP" and the remix EP of said "Reward Ep", he has also featured heavily with remixes, and on almost all of our free VA's, a true Variance artist. We have got to see him grow and develop since early days. This timr he has provided yet again, 4 immense abd unique originals in "Vacuna", "Abstraction", "Jetliner Position" and "Obsfurication. Each track is distinguised, in its own right, but standalone, they are all superb tracks, very flexible, can be played at sub 120bpm or even in a 140 bpm set, very versatile tracks from the Frenchman.
On remix duties, we have two artists that are also no strangers to Variance, following his "Shifting EP" in 2018, we are beyond delighted to have Oleka back on board, the artist has been really outstanding in the last year, this remix is no exception, I am certain it won't be the last time the Bosnian will appear on the label. Lastly, we have a label regular since year one, one of our main men, and its an honour to say it, Johan Platt, he has provided one of his trademark bangers, to round of this already diverse EP, this is a special one, and if you know Variance, you know our quietness of late, means big plans are in the works, so watch this space, and enjoy the latest addition to the Variance discography.
