A new artist is now part of Evod Music, Giri (alias of Gi Napoletano).His debut EP, called “Canopo’s Mutiny”, is a sci-fi journey full of hidden details. “Report B16 KRG” is an interweaving of syncopated drums and abstract sounds raids suspended on a groove carpet that is always moving. “CouseI’ve Been Jeffed” is clearly a tribuite to Mills. The tracks, in pure millsian style, is characterized by recursive sine sequences divided in multiple layers and fused with dynamic TR-909 drum patterns. “Enter” is an ambient, introspective track, result of the fusion of different musical heights of similar timbres; anxiety and mistery are the main ingredients of this track.
