Minnie The Machine (Minttu Niemi) is a finnish musician and #HANDSUP EP is her second release.
Her first album Minniehouse LP was released in May 2019. It's style was special mix of progressive techhouse and melodical techno, so Minnie's listeners started to call her own style to Minniehouse.

#HANDSUP EP has tracks for dancefloors. Remixes bring some techno, house and drum&bass to the EP. Three of EP's six tracks are remixes, made by Modjadeep.SA from South-Africa, Xols from Spain and Leo Laker from Finland.

Minnie has her own unique style to mix beautiful melodies to hypnotic rhythms and powerful basses. In #HANDSUP EP there are dancemusic for everyone.Tracks have elements from 80's and 90's edm, synthwave, techhouse, progressive house and techno.

Minnie The Machine was studying communication at university and working as a journalist. In autumn 2017 she decided to drop everything else to focus full-time on her true passion of making music.

Minnie created Minniehouse-style by mixing the best elements from many genres. After year and half of making music she got her first album released by spanish label called Mona Records.

Minnie has a perfect pitch and is a classically educated violinist and plays piano too. She has played in string orchestras and chamber music bands, and also sang in many choirs as soprano. Music has been a big part of her life since early childhood and now she works as musician.

Minnie The Machine lives in Helsinki with her husband and their 3 years old daughter. Her husband is a hardtechno pioneer, who started his carrieer in late 90’s. They’re also working together to produce music that combines elements from their own styles.
