La Aira

Odhin Fernández is a 32-year-old dj / producer born in Venezuela, currently based in Mallorca, Spain.

Its musical influences are diverse. From classical music to other styles by artists such as Peter Gabriel, King Krimson, Mike Oldfield, Yes, Tangerine Dream….

From his time at the conservatory and orchestras as a trombonist, in his youth, at the age of 18 he really discovered his musical vocation.

Techno, the style that most marks him and makes him dedicate for 12 years to spinning records in various European underground clubs such as Macarena Club, Moroder sound club, Minimal Bar, Berlin Calling, Fundbureau, The Mad Hatter ...

As a dj it is characterized by aggressive and dark sessions, with great music-classical inheritances. During the last 4 years, we can see it fully in the world of music production, highlighting its melodic facet more, although never leaving its techno essence, as reflected in its musical productions, which tend to be explosive, and with the darkness that characterizes him.

And he gives a good account of it, debuting on Mona Records, with an EP called "La aira". In this EP, he leaves the melodic world a little aside - too earthy as he tells us - and focuses on more abstract rhythms and sounds, but with a lot of energy for the dance floor.

Inspired by his moments of meditation in the meadows of Galicia, a land he loves very much as it is where he grows observing nature and its landscape, he brings us four tracks, charged with energy, with which he seeks to be able to close his eyes and find himself in those green fields in which so much techno has been imagined.
