Before the inception of the label, USA based Jonathan aka Mintiest was the first artist to be informed about Rare Basic Recordings. We requested him to release with us on RBR002, without hesitation he agreed and released a magnificent classic deep house ep, also that was his debut release as an artist. In the wake of 5 releases of Rare Basic, Mintiest returns to the label on RBR008 this time tagging along with the talented vocalist Merissa aka MBF.
