When the dance makes way for something else, Club Rooted rides a line found in warm up sets, after parties deep into the 11th hour, or even the golden era of dubstep

Tapping into a lineage that can be traced back through various scenes, from recent slow or kickless techno, abstract UK bass music, to autonomic drum and bass, knackered house, Detroit beatdown and other strands of electronica.

Club music for listening may be a contradiction in terms, he says, but it’s certainly club rooted.
