Acid Lab makes his debut appearance on Stepping Forward after a chain of releases and remixes on parent label FORCE Recordings. Here we find the man's production skills turned in a new direction within Straylight camp as he steps smoothly into Liquid Drum ; Bass vibes with 'In The Shades' ; 'Without You'.

Opening the release 'In The Shades' smoothly washes in with layers of texture and light percussion setting the stage for a rolled out amen, vibrating b-line and day dream styles. Backing this up ACID_LAB takes a page from Calibre's playbook on 'Without You' bringing heavily effected piano licks and a warm male vocal into the mix that sticks in your head for days and days after each play.
