The 3rd time is a charm! Dane, the talented San Fernando valley based r&b singer is back with his first LP titled "W.H.A.L.E". This is an acronym meaning "What Happens After Long Effort". Truly an electrifying masterpiece. It reminds you of Usher's 2016 album 'Hard II Love". On this project you can tell that Dane has a sense of entitlement from start to finish and has embraced the sound of the new school. With that said, he still spews that Neo/soul R&B vibe of the 90's & early 2000's. No more breakup songs or album fillers, he's marching on a war path. W.H.A.L.E" will probably go down as one of his best accomplishments. Powerful lyrics accompanied by catchy melodies makes this album you keep looping. It's that good! From the intro track he draws you in with "A Moment", to the final track "Local Neighborhood N$@ga" where he and fellow singer/rapper "E.Q" grabs their "cojones" figuratively speaking. This is one of those albums that will withstand the test of time and allow listeners to embark on an escape from reality from time to time. Dane has created an amazing body of work just check out his catalog, but this by far may be something even greater.
