This was the third concert of the 2018 Dot Time Records International Artists Series, Live Recording Concerts. Spanish trumpet master David Pastor presented a program designed to reach the classical touch of that time when jazz was all around in the clubs, radio, television… and cinema. Hence the Film Sessions, a program to honor this music and enrich the repertoire with the film scores of other contemporary movies. Recorded live in front of a studio audience at the iconic Studio Nord Bremen, known for its impressive acoustic vintage recording abilities, the intimate setting created an incredible experience for those in attendance at the Studio Nord.
