Sculpted Sounds is thrilled to present our latest EP, a 3 track masterpiece by long in the making by Jirah.
Based in Denver Colorado, Jirah should need little formal introduction. One of the very first US psychedelic trance acts to be globally recognized a generation ago , his sound design and samples are still very relevant and used today the world over. In the past couple of years he has re-emerged as a new dynamic force to be reckoned with. Many recent Sculpted Sounds releases have seen his input or tracks but today he is here with a gem all of his own.
In the title track Ballistic he gives us a driving electro tinged monster with a unique hook and unforgettable melody. Ballistic is one of those tracks that lingers long after the set concludes leaving a lasting memory of the performance with the listener and dancer.
With the second offering on the release Light Rays, Jirah's new style is on full display. Subtle melody plays back and forth with complex and edgy psychedelia while the foot barley comes off the gas pedal.
Closing it out with In The Beginning, we get a powerful melodic anthem that would find itself equally at home on a sun drenched festival dance floor or rocking a massive stadium
