Paolo Ursino is perhaps best known in the house and techno scene as Paul Ursin, but the Italian DJ and producer delivers a more warm and organic tone under his new moniker, POLARSEN. His new single ”How” is pulsing and reflective, fitting perfectly with fans of Bonobo and Ross from Friends.

Being from a small village in Sicily, you can hear the influence of the artist’s picturesque surroundings. But this humble locale was never a barrier for the globe-trotting performer. His music has already received support from DJs like Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Carl Cox and Mark Knight. “How” is an ambitious take on a sample, previously used by $uicideBoy$ and XXXTENTACION. With a forthcoming remix from label founder Conrad Clifton, POLARSEN is sure to attract the broad-minded music lover.

The eco-conscious artist is driven to “save the planet through music, mixing nature and ideal sound to create a natural dance floor. I want the listener to close their eyes and be immersed in a new dimension, the future of dance,” he says. “To me, this is POLARSEN.”
