The Nibiru EP wastes absolutely no time getting down to business: space-age keys trot to a build within seconds, and every drop following gives just a hair more satisfaction, turning the syncopated groove into a thumping trance. From here, “Live Resin” takes the alien vibes of “Nibiru” and morphs them into a muted banger. Closer “BPM” warps the sound further, subverting tech melodies & textures in favor of glitched-out synth turns, and QT-HIGH makes it clear that he’s not out to meet conventions. This EP brings the Underground into its own world where tech & progressive beats dance among exotic melodies and industrialized sampling.
