Pre-lockdown six men from the US, the UK, Ghana and Austria came together, each bringing a few tunes to record an album over two days in the outskirts of London. The studio was nearly bursting with intensity and this single with the same name as the forthcoming album 'The Hang' is monument to it. It features the high-energy acrobatics of US saxophonist Tucker Antell, at times threatening to burst the perpetuating Funk riff apart - only some Gospel interludes providing the listener temporary respite. The Funkestra with over 1.7 million streams have created their own brand of Funk and 'The Hang' is another testament to Stefan Redtenbacher's industrious Funk adventures.
