Operating out of Moscow and Berlin, SILA runs the Not For Fun label to explore modern music genres which aspire to move their listeners forward through mechanical stereotypes to transrational states of mind. A longtime contributor to underground rock and experimental electronic scenes, SILA started his solo project in 2017 and launched the Not For Fun label in 2018. A remastered version of SILA’s Aeterna EP drops on December 2019.
The idea behind this record is a futuristic musical journey through different shades of heady techno.

SILA starts his story with psychedelic banger Caustic Camo, delivering to the dancefloor pumping kicks and sunny psychedelic guitar melodies juxtaposed with heavy bass. The second chapter is Aeterna, boasting dark electro and industrial layers, broken UK style snares and middle east spiced avantgarde synth lines, immersing the mind in fantastical musical realms. Last up is Aglysh, a multi-layered shamanic avantgarde epoch told on the borderlands of dark dnb and techno, bringing a sophisticated experimental proposition to listeners whilst losing none of the bass-weight.
The three tracks were composed exploring 3 stages of a life circle - Birth (Caustic Camo), Life (Aeterna) and Death (Aglysh).

SILA’s side projects include Teenage Arab, ACIDHOP, AO AQOOA and Caustic Camo
